One glorious Sunday afternoon, my friend and neighbor's condo was converted into a dumpling factory. Friends came. We pleated, folded, and otherwise cajoled pork-scallion, shrimp-chive, and shiitake mushroom-water chestnut mixtures into over 500 wrappers. And then, we ate.
