I did make the most of yesterday evening by whiling away the pre-storm hours with a couple bottles of pinot noir, sampling of cheeses, and delectable handcrafted chocolates (including "slow cooked buttery caramel, topped with hand harvested fleur de sel" -- oh to taste with our eyes) at Veritas, followed by some rather questionable Malibu rum-and-Cokes at Larry's Lounge. What, I wanted a taste of the islands...
