When in Peru

In the end, I couldn't bring myself to try cuy (guinea pig), but the alpaca filets at Incanto in Cusco were a different story. The alpaca did not taste like chicken -- more like pork, with a very mild flavor that was not at all gamey. More photos of Peruvian culinary delights to come in the next few days.

  2. Didn't have enough time, unfortunately. Just spent a couple days in Lima and Cusco (in a bed in Cusco, to be precise, since altitude sickness struck and I slept for 15 hours straight) before the four-day hike to Machu Picchu.
