Happy as a Clam (and Lobstah)

One of my favorite games to play (and I love to play games) is deciding what I would order as my last meal if execution were imminent. For years seafood pasta reigned, but after last weekend's jaunt to New England, I think I'd like to go out with a good old fashioned clam bake.

I'd request a simple lobster dinner with french fries and coleslaw, like the meal I had at The Lobster Shack Restaurant in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. This time I would skip their banana cream pie in favor of the Whoopie pie, little round chocolate cakes sandwiching an inch of cream filling.

I'd also ask for a side of fried native clams, piping hot and crisp, like the ones from the The Clam Box in Ipswich, Massachusetts. All this would be perfectly complemented by a cold lemonade.

And while I'm at it, perhaps they will also give me a pony.
