As my friend the food bandit likes to say, I don't eat much meat, but...

...it is always hard to pass up a pastrami sandwich from
Carnegie Deli. I adore
Katz's too, of course, especially for its
cinematic history and quirky ordering system designed to confuse first-time visitors, but for its sheer volume, Carnegie's cannot be beat.
Comida père's commentary on a visit to Katz's sums it up nicely: "The pastrami was so delicious with cucumber. I have never eaten such kind of unique meat before."
